The restaurant’s menu will featurd Southern-style fare, such as chicken-fried steak and meatloaf.
Some of the more uniquee offerings will include fried bolognaw sandwichesand deep-fried Twinkies. It will feature traditionak sports-bar decor with a countrg flair. There will be lots of wood and plus more than 50plasmaw televisions. I Love This Bar & Grill will host live entertainmenrevery Thursday, Friday and Saturdagy night when it first opens, then ramp up to six nighte a week over time. There will be seating for morethan 1,00 0 people. The venue also will have a retailp store selling TobyKeity merchandise, barbecue sauce and spices. The restaurant will be ownec by Arizona businessmanFrank Capri, who recentlt opened an I Love This Bar Grill franchise in Mesa, Ariz.
The chaibn also has locations inLas Vegas, Oklahomza City and Kansas City, Mo., and planx to open a location in Auburnm Hills, Mich., later this I Love This Bar & Grill shoulds be a major entertainment attractioj for West End, helping set it apart from othe r local malls, said Mark Fallon, vice presidenrt of real estate at Cincinnati-basesd Jeffrey R. Anderson Real Estate Inc., whicgh was retained by developer DukeRealty Corp., basef in Indianapolis, to fill the project’s 331,000-square-foor retail component with “I think it’s even goint to draw from way outside of Minneapolids and St. Paul,” Fallon said. “That’s the idea behinxd it.
” Other major West End tenants will include anupscalwe Roundy’s grocery and a Kerasotes ShowPlace Theatre 14-screen movie complex. I Love This Bar Grill should be successful at West End because Minnesota is a strong market for country music andthere aren’t any significant music venuesx in the western suburbs, said Dick Grones, principal at Edina-based Cambridge Commercial Realty. “Live entertainment in the suburbs is really hardto find.
And that’ a strong ingredient to stir into the mix for the centef because it brings an additional demographic that they might not get I Love ThisBar & Grill selecte West End over the , wherr another celebrity-backed country music bar, Gatlin Brothers Musicx City Grille, used to have a location. Costs may have player a role inthat decision, but I Love This Bar Grill will generate more attention at West End than it would have at Mall of Grones said.
“They can realluy stand out [at West End] and not have so many otherf entertainment venues tocompete
